An audit of the Australian Immunisation Register https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:35824 30 days overdue for immunisation. Survey data were analysed using population weights. Results: Estimated true coverage of fully vaccinated one-year-old children in NSW is 96.2% (CI:95.9-96.4), 2.1% higher than AIR reported coverage of 94.1%. Of the children reported as overdue on AIR, 34.9% (CI:30.9-38.9) were actually fully vaccinated. No significant association was found between under-reporting and socioeconomic status, rurality or reported local coverage level. Data errors in AIR uploading (at provider level) and duplicate records contributed to incorrect AIR coverage recording. Conclusions: Despite incentives to record childhood vaccinations on AIR, under-reporting continues to be an important contributor to underestimation of true coverage in NSW. Implications for public health: More reliable transmission of encounters to AIR at provider level and removal of duplicates would improve accuracy of reported coverage.]]> Wed 17 Nov 2021 16:30:08 AEDT ]]> Barriers and enablers experienced by health care workers in swabbing for COVID-19 in Papua New Guinea: A multi-methods cross-sectional study https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:48778 Wed 05 Apr 2023 14:02:31 AEST ]]> Emergency response and the need for collective competence in epidemiological teams https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:49018 Wed 03 May 2023 12:31:08 AEST ]]> Leadership, politics, and communication: challenges of the epidemiology workforce during emergency response https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:42299 Sat 29 Jul 2023 14:05:31 AEST ]]> The feasibility and acceptability of implementing and evaluating a caregiver group intervention to address child mental health: A pilot study in Iraq https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:50938 Mon 14 Aug 2023 12:58:09 AEST ]]> Involvement and readiness of fellows from Papua New Guinea's Field Epidemiology Training Programme in the COVID-19 response, 2020-2021. https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:54179 Mon 12 Feb 2024 13:11:52 AEDT ]]> Epidemiology of Group A Streptococcal bacteraemia in Hunter New England Local Health District, 2008 to 2019 https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:54746 Mon 11 Mar 2024 14:25:24 AEDT ]]> Shaping applied epidemiology workforce training to strengthen emergency response: a global survey of applied epidemiologists, 2019–2020 https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:47236 Fri 16 Dec 2022 12:08:54 AEDT ]]> Ready to respond: adapting rapid response team training in Papua New Guinea during the COVID-19 pandemic https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:54707 Fri 08 Mar 2024 12:20:52 AEDT ]]> Team effectiveness: epidemiologists’ perception of collective performance during emergency response https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:51371 Fri 01 Sep 2023 13:41:10 AEST ]]>
